These guys were the hottest songwriting team around in the mid-sixties. They were the driving force behind the early success of The Monkees. They wrote film scores, music for several TV shows and put out truly classic pop records in their own name. And, their anthem, "L.U.V. (Let Us Vote)" was the official campaign song for the Let Us Vote movement that lowered the voting age to 18. IMHO, nobody in America did pop music better than Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart.
